Early voting is already underway, and the official election day is March 3rd.
Among the candidates is labor lawyer Tom Geoghegan, who's received endorsement from Democracy for America & the Nation among many others. He was an early opponent of the war in Iraq, and advocates for cutting the military budget, single-payer health care, increases in Social Security payments, no more blank check bailouts, an end to foreclosures and abusive bank card interest rates, etc. etc. You can check out his website for a detailed list of positions (www.tom09.com).
